About Karen Boustany: Concept Creator, Producer and Presenter of the show- Writer, Poet, Media Personality, Owner & GM of Eyestrategy Buisness Communication sarl, President of The Lebanese ALS Association.

Born in Ain El Rihane, a village of Mount Lebanon, Karen Boustany studied at St Joseph – Antoura College where she started writing poetry at a very early age.
She consecrates all her free time to writing poetry and travels to Paris where she gets her BA in French literature from La Sorbonne University, Paris IV. She graduated also from the Lebanese American University in Beirut, specializing in a double major: Communication Arts and Political Sciences.
Having acquired 12 years of experience in the field of Advertising, she establishes her own advertising and marketing company “Eyestrategy Business Communication sarl” in 2005, conciliating literature, know-how and beauty.

For two consecutive years, she had her own socio-political page:”Poing à la ligne” in Al Balad newspaper in its French publication.
In April 2009 and with the reopening of the Lebanese TV channel MTV, Karen prepares and animates a daily cultural show at 12h30 pm: Kitab. She presents and analyses new books releases and best sellers and interviews Lebanese and international authors in the studio or through Skype as she is the first TV presenter to use this technology in a cultural show. She has received more than 1800 writers from which 250 international writers such as the great Lebanese French writer Amin Maalouf as well as the best selling writer in the world Marc Levy and others…
From 2010 till 2013, Karen has covered the Salon du Livre Francophone in Beirut hosting each year more than 80 writers in less than ten days.
On May 16th, 2012 Karen Boustany is part of History with her new outstanding show « écrire l’Histoire » in which she hosts famous international personalities of the 21st century. International writers like Marc Levy, Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt, Venus Khoury-Ghata and Amin Maalouf. On April 6, 2013 she starts with Ecrire l’Histoire Season 2 exclusively from Detroit, Los Angeles and Hollywood with great personalities from Lebanese Origins. Great Film Makers, Film Directors, Producers, as well as music compositors, writers, politicians and CEOs are interviewed in the USA and Paris such as Mr. Carlos Ghosn, CEO of Nissan and Renault worldwide and Dr Charles El Achi, Director of JPL Nasa in LA.

On February 2014, she starts a new TV series on LBCI Asmaa Min Al Tarikh in which she hosts very famous Brazilian personalities from Lebanese descent such as President of Brazil HE Michel Temer.
In 2015, she travels to UAE and film more than 15 episodes with outstanding Lebanese success stories in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.

In October 2016, she travels to Australia and film more than 12 interviews with prominent Lebanese politicians and businessmen such as Former Premiere of Victoria HE Steve Brax.
In February 2017, she travels to South Africa and film more than 35 interviews with prominent Lebanese politicians and businessmen in Africa during the Lebanese Diaspora Energy.
In September 2017, she travels to Las Vegas and San Francisco where she interviews more than 16 Successful Lebanese Personalities: most of them are tycoons in the ICT field, as well as successful young startups. She also filmed exclusively inside the two greatest leading techonology companies in the world, straight from Silicon Valley, Google and Facebook.

Since 2014, She is a founding member of the Lebanese Energy Diaspora Conference organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration. This conference takes place in Beirut each year in May and features more than 1000 of Lebanese successful expats.
Karen has published two books: a poetry book “Au-delà de la Faute” published in December 2007 and “Mon père le Roi du monde”, an homage to her father Raymond published in November 2012. She is preparing her third book which will be full of true stories and another one about her mother who passed away recently.

In June 2015, she co-founds and presides the Lebanese ALS association, first ALS Association in the Arab World: www.als-Lebanon.org

In 2017, she was awarded four times: Asmaa Min Al Tarikh Best TV Show for 2016-2017 by the Beirut Golden Awards, Best TV Personality by HE Minister of Communication Melhem Riachy at the Byblorama political & social event on April 2017, HE Minister of Foreign Affairs Gebran Bassil awarded Karen Boustany for all her achievements and support to the Lebanese Diaspora at the LDE Conference held on May 4 and 5, 2017 at Biel, and last but not least by HE Minister of Tourism Avedis Guidanian who awarded Karen Media Ambassador to the Lebanese Diapsora at a great event held by the Lebanese Brazilian Union in December 2017.
